Job summary

HireTalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to support large-scale, dispatchable power generation projects, including combustion turbine facilities. You will act as a project engineer, providing electrical engineering expertise across design and construction phases, and be responsible for technical reviews, RFIs, NCRs, and ensuring construction aligns with approved designs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent.
7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
3+ years supporting dispatchable generation projects (design or construction).
Experience with RFIs, NCRs, and contract scope management.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering support for large dispatchable generation projects and facilities in construction or design.
Review submittals, drawings, studies, and analyses for compliance with project requirements and specs.
Prepare and resolve RFIs and non-conformance reports; communicate design clarifications.
Ensure construction activities align with approved designs and contractual scope.
Collaborate with project engineers, managers, inspectors, and controls teams; on-site guidance during construction.
