Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least 5 years of full-time experience in an industrial mill setting as an Electrical/Mechanical/Project Engineer.
• Experience in construction management or maintenance in industrial/process plant environments is an asset.
• Experience on projects with operating companies or engineering firms as part of a team is an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints and other diagrams; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of major capital and expense projects.
• Ensure EHS regulations and procedures are integrated into project management.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates; monitor risk and mitigation.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate cross-functional teams including contractors.
• Prepare contract documents, vendor selections, and reporting to executives.
