IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in San Antonio, TX to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for building electrical systems. You will oversee design, analysis, and implementation while mentoring staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client goals.

The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and staying current with industry standards, with opportunities to work on diverse projects such as data centers, hospitals, and schools.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE license preferred.
• 2+ years in building design consulting; 4+ preferred.
• Proficient with design techniques for electrical systems.
• Strong analytical skills in circuit theory, power, and electronics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGi32, Easy Power, ComCheck, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems and prepare specifications and calculations.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Plan, budget, and schedule projects to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress and fees.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality standards.
