Key Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical drawings and technical plans to determine project requirements

• Develop electrical construction work plans including conduit layouts, duct bank specifications, equipment mounting, and wire tagging

• Perform engineering calculations (e.g., voltage drop, conduit fill, wire, breaker, and transformer sizing) in compliance with the Electrical Code (NEC)

• Analyze and troubleshoot control diagrams and system operations

• Review material submittals and equipment datasheets to verify specification compliance

• Procure, track, and manage electrical materials and equipment for each project

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest standard

• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) audits

• Stay informed on the latest technologies, code changes, and best practices in the industry

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction engineering, ideally within heavy industrial or infrastructure sectors

• Technical or Electrical degree from an accredited institution

• Proficient with CAD and electrical design/modeling software

• Strong working knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC)

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices

• Demonstrated experience with QA/QC processes

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
