• 5+ years of experience in power delivery (12 kV to 500 kV).
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.

Role Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Technology degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in power delivery – medium to high voltage (12 kV to 500 kV).
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
• Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Enjoys taking on leadership roles as a technical expert and as a community and company servant leader.
• Experience mentoring and empowering newer engineers.
• Established experience in power project design oversight.
• Proficient in relay protection schemes and settings development.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
• Thrives in collaborative environments and communicates effectively with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone).

Key Responsibilities:

• Substation Project Engineer: Lead electrical design from conceptual to completion, interacting with multiple stakeholders and fulfilling project needs and requirements.
• Technical oversight: Apply electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures to complex projects and develop non-standard design solutions.
• Mentoring and development: Train and empower the Power team, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering career growth.
• Administrative oversight: Support quality assurance, partner with Project Managers on schedules, estimates, proposals, and uphold client standards.
