Summary Of Position

As a Electrical Project Designer supporting our Construction Services/Energy business unit, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of innovative design solutions for power generation equipment and electric vehicles. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to create sustainable designs that meet client specifications and industry standards. The designer will collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally responsible. The end result of this role is to deliver high-quality design projects that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of energy solutions. Ultimately, the Project Designer will contribute to the advancement of green technology and the promotion of sustainable practices in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed design concepts for power generation equipment and electric vehicles using software such as AutoCAD
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure designs meet project specifications
• Conduct code research under the management of professional engineers
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients and team members to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• E.I.T would be a plus
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD
• Desire to learn design of power generation or electric vehicle industry.
  
  

Team

This role will work closely with a team of Designers and Engineers.

Work Location:

This is a hybrid role that can sit out of our Somerville, NJ office.
