IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Designer for our Industrial team, in our Rock Island, IL or Urbandale, IA offices. Remote within a 200-mile radius. As an Electrical Project Designer, you will perform calculations, system design, equipment selections, reports, progress submittals, and BIM instructions for the project to ensure completeness and accuracy on time, within budget, and in accordance with IMEG design standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead design for electrical systems and mentor junior staff
2. Research, coordinate, verify, schedule, and document various design aspects
3. Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
4. Solve problems quickly and seek advice from the Project Manager
5. Perform services as required by the contract services agreement

Skills and Abilities Needed

• Mastery of electrical design and technical aspects
• Demonstrated aptitude for project management
• Knowledge of fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics
• Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and BIM programs
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science
• Minimum of 3 years of qualifying experience; 4 years preferred

• Or a minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience without a bachelor's degree
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship

State of California Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000. Salary may vary based on location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Other rewards include bonuses and stock options.
