Role Description The Electrical Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Altamonte Springs, FL. This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical work across multiple construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with project scheduling, tracking materials and equipment, coordinating with field supervisors and electricians, and updating project documentation and logs. The role also involves reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing work orders, supporting procurement activities, and helping ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The Electrical Project Coordinator will regularly communicate with internal teams, general contractors, and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Project coordination skills, including scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining organized documentation for electrical construction projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes, with the ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with field teams, general contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, project management tools) and comfort with digital recordkeeping.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address site issues, follow up on outstanding items, and support safety and quality requirements.
• Experience in construction or electrical contracting environments is highly beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or technical training in construction management, electrical technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Altamonte Springs, FL, and adapt to changing project demands and job site conditions.
