Job description

If you are a Project Coordinator reaching a ceiling in your current role, ready for more ownership, or interested in working on complex electrical construction projects, this is your opportunity to expand your impact.

You are the organized force that keeps a high volume of electrical construction projects on track and moving forward. You will own the day-to-day coordination of your projects, applying your construction knowledge, strong organization and follow through to make sure materials are ready, details are handled, customers and subcontractors stay informed, and nothing gets lost in the shuffle.

If you enjoy being the person everyone can count on, love keeping many moving pieces organized, and want to make a real difference for your team and customers, this Project Coordinator opportunity could be your perfect next move.

Project Coordinator – Your Job Duties and Impact

You will support electrical construction projects from planning and coordination through project closeout.

You will:

  • Coordinate multiple active electrical construction projects and keep project details, priorities, materials, and next steps organized.
  • Review and approve purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Order project materials and track material needs to support project schedules and field readiness.
  • Coordinate project scope and help ensure the team has the information, materials, and resources needed before work begins.
  • Communicate directly with customers, subcontractors, Project Managers, and internal team members regarding project needs, schedules, status, and outstanding items.
  • Support project kickoffs and ongoing project coordination, following up on action items and keeping the many moving pieces organized.
  • Monitor project activity and proactively identify missing information, materials, approvals, or other items that could slow progress.
  • Participate in job walks when helpful to gain a stronger technical understanding of project scope and field conditions.
  • Maintain accurate project information and documentation within Acumatica ERP.
  • Coordinate project closeout and complete jobs within the system so completed projects are ready for billing.
Project Coordinator – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Prior experience as a construction Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Materials Coordinator, or in a similar construction project support role
  • Prior experience managing multiple active projects, deadlines, priorities, and moving parts at the same time
  • Prior experience with procurement, purchasing, materials coordination, or construction project logistics
  • Strong organization and follow through with the ability to keep project details from slipping through the cracks – you are an organization master
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand construction project scope, materials, sequencing, and project requirements (added plus if you have electrical background!)
  • Experience communicating directly with customers, subcontractors, field teams, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Comfort taking ownership of project coordination rather than waiting to be directed on every next step.
  • Experience using construction project management, ERP, or project tracking software.

You might also have:

  • Prior experience working on electrical construction projects or hands on electrical field experience.
  • A construction management or electrical background that gives you a stronger understanding of project scope and field operations.
  • Prior experience with contracts or scope of work documentation.

A successful Project Coordinator is a master of the many moving parts of multiple jobs. You keep materials, project information, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams aligned. You know what is happening across your projects, follow through without being chased, and take ownership of the details that help projects move efficiently from coordination through closeout.

Project Coordinator – Benefits for You

Your compensation will be $80,000 up to $105,000 annually, depending on your experience and technical background. Additional compensation flexibility may be available if you bring strong electrical field experience.

Full medical, dental and vision insurance benefits, paid time off, retirement plan, paid holidays.
