Job summary

The City of Dallas is seeking an Electrical Manager to oversee electrical work across departments, develop and refine the preventive maintenance program, and conduct safety inspections.

You will supervise electricians, perform project estimation, manage budgets, coordinate equipment and panel locations, and participate in meetings to drive productivity and safety across the city facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years as journey electrician with at least three years supervising.
• State Master Electrician License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise electrical work across City departments.
• Develop and oversee the electrical preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect, evaluate, and review electricians' work for quality and safety.
• Analyze production goals and supervise budget for the department.
• Manage equipment, inventory, and panel locations; oversee testing equipment.
• Represent the program area at meetings, hearings, and conferences.
• Perform other duties as required.
