Job summary

Actalent in West Hartford, CT is seeking an Electrical Production Engineer to support complex electronic products in production and service, emphasizing MRB disposition and root-cause analysis.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and drive engineering changes for reliability and sustainment while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum five years of relevant electrical or electronics engineering experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, PCBA documentation.
• Experience with root cause investigations and MRB processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition non-conforming electronic materials and test failures via MRB.
• Read schematics and support failure analysis.
• Troubleshoot to component level.
• Lead or oversee validation and testing activities.
• Coordinate technical support for cross-functional teams.
