Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking an Electrical Product Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Miamisburg, OH. This hands-on internship involves designing, testing, and improving power distribution products and related electrical systems onsite at our Ohio manufacturing hub.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful projects, gain practical experience, and develop professional skills through mentorship and real responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Completed at least three years of undergraduate study.
• Strong academic performance in electrical power systems or product engineering.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of low-voltage power distribution equipment and electrical assemblies.
• Support creation and maintenance of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and docs.
• Participate in product testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Assist engineering teams with design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address production challenges and improve quality.
• Support compliance with UL, NEC, NEMA and industry standards.
• Conduct engineering research, data analysis, and technical evaluations.
• Help identify opportunities to improve reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and quality teams.
