Job summary

FTI is seeking a Procurement Agent II to provide comprehensive procurement support from quotation to delivery. The role emphasizes strong customer service to Project Management and Field personnel, with duties including RFI/RFP/RFQ activities, order creation, and supplier coordination.

Ideal candidates have a basic knowledge of electrical construction trades, purchasing procedures, and experience in managing material requirements, with travel under 10% and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or relevant trade/industry technical program.
• 2–5 years of Purchasing/Buying experience in electrical industry or other relevant business.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures, processes, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicates issues/concerns/delays/opportunities to stakeholders.
• Expedites supplier shipments, deliveries, and/or pickups as appropriate.
• Applies contract pricing to purchase materials and supports negotiation outcomes.
• Prepares purchase orders using established purchasing procedures and ensures BOM clarity.
• Participates in project start-up meetings and collaborates with internal/external stakeholders.
• Maintains effective relationships to minimize disruption and manage risks.
