Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Procurement Project Manager for Electrical Products in the USA/Canada/Mexico region. The role focuses on developing and implementing procurement strategies, mitigating supply risk, and driving supplier capacity ramp-ups.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, lead cost-saving initiatives, and support contract development for alternate suppliers while enabling location procurement strategies and PLM integration. Hybrid work in the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or operations experience.
• Open to 15-20% travel to North American sites and supplier facilities.
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and achieve cost savings within the commodity.
• Lead supplier development in collaboration with Operations and Supplier Quality Management, including RFQ execution and capacity planning.
• Support commodity managers in contract development for alternate suppliers.
• Assist Location Procurement Managers in developing location procurement strategies.
• Develop end-to-end supply chain and alternate processes/technologies.
• Support Location Procurement Manager in developing location strategies.
• Participate in the PLM process with supplier and market insights.
