Procurement Project Manager position for Electrical Product Business in USA/Canada/Mexico unit will support the development and implementation of a procurement strategy for the area of responsibility. This role requires proven expertise in mitigating supply risk, developing dual/multi-sourcing strategies, and driving supplier capacity ramp-ups.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes, reduce cycle times, and achieve significant cost savings within the commodity.
Lead supplier development initiatives in collaboration with Operations and Supplier Quality Management, including supplier scouting, RFQ execution, tooling development, capacity planning, cost transparency, and production ramp-up in coordination with the Materials team.
Support commodity managers in contract development for alternate suppliers.
Support Location Procurement Managers in the plant in developing and implementing location procurement strategies.
Develop end-to-end supply chain and alternate process/technologies.
Support the role of Location Procurement Manager in the plant in developing and implementing location procurement strategies.
Participates in the PLM process and integrates supplier and supply market expertise prior to decisions on product portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
3 plus years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or operations.
Must be open to 15-20 % travel to North American Operational sites and Supplier’s Facilities mainly in North America.
Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
An engineering degree is not mandatory, but advantageous

Collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional meetings with various departments such as Product Development, Finance and Operations to align on objective, timelines and deliverables.

The pay range for this position is $74,970 - $128,520. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
