Contractor Network in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Electrical Procurement Manager with extensive electrical construction purchasing experience. You will own procurement responsibilities, negotiate terms, manage suppliers, and coordinate major electrical packages to support safe execution and profitable growth.

The ideal candidate brings strong organization, communication, and leadership skills, plus ERP/purchasing system experience and the ability to analyze vendor quotations and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical procurement, purchasing, or related fields.
• Strong negotiation and vendor-management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate material buyouts, schedules, and reporting.
• Knowledge of long-lead electrical equipment procurement and ERP/purchasing tools.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase electrical materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations, lead times, terms, and scope compliance.
• Coordinate switchgear, transformers, generators, lighting, wire, cable, and major packages.
• Maintain buyout logs, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement reporting.
• Validate budgets, quantities, substitutions, and approved manufacturers with project teams.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, freight, escalation exposure, and delivery commitments.
• Identify supply-chain risks and develop alternate sourcing strategies.
• Maintain supplier relationships and support closeout.
