Moss & Associates is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement for electrical materials on assigned projects. The role reports to the Purchasing and Operations Manager - Electrical Procurement and collaborates with project teams, operations, and warehouse staff to ensure material availability and timely delivery.

As an entry-level buyer, you will create POs, gather quotes, track orders, and assist with basic analyses while adhering to Moss' purchasing policies and ERP documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 0-2 years of procurement, purchasing, or related experience; construction, energy, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Exposure to supplier interaction and procurement workflows (quote requests, PO processing, order follow-up) preferred.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems preferred.
• Foundational analytical skills and data accuracy.
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned materials, including creating POs and tracking delivery status.
• Assist and organize supplier quotes for recurring and project-based purchases per guidelines.
• Review requisitions for completeness and obtain clarifications as needed.
• Perform basic comparisons of supplier quotes and provide summaries or recommendations.
• Maintain communication with project teams, operations, and warehouse staff to support material availability and project schedules.
• Enter pricing, lead times, supplier information, and PO details in ERP and ensure data accuracy.
