ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Processor Validation Engineer in San Jose, CA to define and execute validation plans for processor interfaces. The role involves hands-on testing with hardware/software tools, debugging silicon interface features, and contributing to platform definitions.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure platform readiness and successful silicon bring-up.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE/CE with required years of experience.
• Experience and expertise in development and execution of platform-level electrical and functional test plans.
• Experience debugging processor and PC platform I/O interfaces.
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, reading schematics and layout docs; familiarity with Windows and Office.

Responsabilidades

• Write comprehensive electrical and functional test plans for processor interface validation.
• Execute electrical and functional test plans using hardware and software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Debug electrical and functional issues for new processors, especially around silicon interface features and power management behavior.
• Provide input into platform definition and review platform designs used in silicon validation of new processors.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in processor validation planning, testing, and debugging.
