Job summary

Alcoa's ELYSIS US Research & Development facility in New Kensington, PA is seeking an Electrical Process Technician to join a development team working on the production, processing, testing, and scale-up of advanced materials.

You will operate equipment, prepare samples, test chemical composition, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. This role requires hands-on problem solving and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; strong aptitude in a skilled trade.
• 2+ years in an industrial environment with emphasis on material handling.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented learning environment and maintain safety.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, JMP, Access or similar.
• Strong documentation, organization and data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute tasks including material batching, handling, and equipment operation/maintenance.
• Prepare and test samples for chemical composition and physical properties.
• Disassemble/repair equipment as needed; supervise team while performing tasks.
• Develop and maintain safe work instructions; ensure EHS compliance.
• Record and analyze data; communicate results to teammates.
