Job Title: Electrical Process Technician
Location: Charlotte, MI
Our Electrical Process Technician is a critical part of our manufacturing team. You will work as part of the team within the entire manufacturing area. Your responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing hardware and software such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Variable Speed Drives (VSD), Servo systems, Safety systems, Industrial Networks, Instrumentation, and Sensors. You must understand, explain, and program in ladder logic (preferably RSLogix 5000). Providing effective fault elimination/escalation support to ensure successful return to operation of manufacturing and support equipment is essential. The role requires use of physical tools, software tools, and test instruments for building, installing, and maintaining automated manufacturing systems. You must support the plant's production goals and overall business plans as directed.
This position involves exposure to occupational hazards, including high noise levels, high ambient temperatures, working at heights, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, and working with energized 480 VAC circuits. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime, is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
