Dynalectric Company San Diego is hiring a Preconstruction Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for electrical projects from pursuit through turnover. This role delivers accurate, competitive, and comprehensive estimates while ensuring technical alignment and constructability for successful execution.

The Preconstruction Manager acts as a bridge between clients, design teams, and internal operations, coordinating scope, budget, and execution strategy prior to construction start.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in estimating/preconstruction or 5+ years in construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, construction materials, and contract docs.

Responsibilities

• Attend estimating meetings and discuss bid status with customers/clients.
• Performs job walks and analyzes field conditions affecting bids and designs.
• Create and understand conceptual electrical system designs and estimates.
• Perform design/build and budget estimates on multiple projects.
• Review blueprints and specs to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, owners, and subs on changes.
