Job summary

TW Constructors (TWC) in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Electrical Preconstruction Manager to lead the electrical preconstruction process from inception through construction start.

You will develop conceptual and detailed electrical estimates, review designs, define scopes of work, evaluate constructability, and manage bids with trade partners. You will collaborate with owners, engineers, architects, utilities, suppliers, and operations teams to develop accurate project plans, assess value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Five to ten years of electrical estimating, electrical preconstruction, or related commercial construction experience.
• Experience estimating commercial or industrial electrical systems.
• Design-build and design-assist experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, utilities coordination, and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical preconstruction activities from conceptual design through turnover to the project delivery team.
• Develop estimates for electrical systems at conceptual, schematic, design-development, and construction-document stages.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, material pricing, and subcontractor comparisons.
• Review electrical drawings, schedules, and owner requirements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and trade partners to clarify project requirements.
• Identify scope gaps, design conflicts, and cost/schedule risks and propose mitigations.
