Job summary

ABM is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for Electrical Power Services to join our team in a hybrid role (in-office 4 days/week). You will partner with hiring managers to source, interview, and place technicians and field leaders, while building strong relationships with educational institutions and industry groups.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting, ensure a positive candidate experience, and maintain compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for technician and field leadership positions, preferably in the electrical, testing, commissioning or data center spaces.
• Full cycle recruiting experience (corporate or agency), demonstrating successful direct sourcing techniques and effective relationship management skills.
• Knowledgeable in full life cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing candidate skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Source, interview, and assess candidates for qualifications and fit.
• Build a network of qualified candidates via job boards, social media, events, and referrals.
• Develop relationships with educational institutions and trade organizations to access emerging talent.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and recruitment laws.
• Manage recruitment databases and track key performance metrics.
• Provide a positive candidate experience and keep candidates informed.
• Coordinate interviews, debriefs, and offers with hiring managers.
• Maintain regular candidate communication and feedback.
• Assist onboarding and orientation programs.
• Partner with HR, Total Rewards, TA leadership, and hiring managers.
