Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Two years related work experience.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in energy industry including utility electric and gas operations, maintenance, design, and project management.
• EI (Engineering Intern) or EIT (Engineering in Training) Certificate; PE designation for Engineer III.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering designs, specifications, support service, cost estimates and project management for electric construction projects and other technical projects.
• Manages placement of recording devices and review of system data to monitor system capacity and ensure compliance with codes and policy.
• Prepares feasibility studies and engineering design of distribution extensions, ensuring proper installation of equipment.
• Identifies system reinforcements to ensure continued electric service during peak demand.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
