Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to design and implement electrical power systems for industrial, commercial, and domestic applications.

The role leads engineering and project management, coordinating disciplines to deliver cost-effective solutions on time and within budget. Responsibilities include overseeing schedule performance, maintaining quality standards, mentoring engineers, building client relations, and coordinating drawings, data sheets, and

Qualifications

• AS or higher in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design and engineering
• 5+ years of experience managing project managers and junior engineers
• 5+ years of product knowledge of key electrical components of a Protection & Control Panel (SEL, Electroswitch, test switches)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more and stand/walk for four+ hours

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and project management efforts on assigned projects and coordinate the disciplines for cost-effective solutions
• Ensure engineering work meets schedule, quality standards, and budget baselines
• Review schedule progress with the Client and keep senior managers informed
• Ensure quality of engineering execution and deliverables
• Mentor staff and develop training materials and seminars
• Develop client relations and coordinate documentation for scope and specs
• Coordinate inspections, FATs, and approvals; ensure compliance with codes and regulations
