Job summary

Sensata Technologies, through its Dynapower unit, is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Power Systems in Vermont. You will design end-to-end electrical systems, from concept to production release, including drafting and DFM. You will participate in feasibility studies, testing, and customer discussions to capture specifications.

Preferred PLC and HMI development experience and strong collaboration across disciplines. Base salary range listed and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong written and oral communication; presentation skills.
• Well organized with time management to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates integrity and accountability.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Collaborates effectively with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
• Create and maintain accurate engineering drawings for production.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety requirements and internal specs.
• Contribute to manufacturability, cost, and reliability in product designs.
• Support prototyping, pilot builds, and production ramp; communicate with manufacturing.
