Job summary

SMTI in Williston, Vermont is seeking an Electrical Engineer to advance technologies for semiconductor manufacturing. You will design electrical systems for machine control, create schematics, and select components while ensuring compliance with SEMI, CE, UL, IEC, NFPA, and safety standards.

A strong background in analog/digital electronics and ECAD/ERP tools is required. The role focuses on power distribution, motion & temperature control systems, and collaboration on design reviews to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years in design engineering with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical systems for machine control.
• Develop power distribution systems (AC & DC).
• Create and update electrical schematics.
• Specify and select electrical components such as power supplies, relays, sensors, drives, and controllers.
• Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI, CE, UL, IEC, NFPA, and related standards.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments (FMEA, safety analysis).

You need:

• Experience with electrical diagnostic equipment
