Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Analysis Solutions Business Area in Reston, Virginia. The role focuses on engineering assessments of critical infrastructure, including substations and distribution systems.

The ideal candidate brings analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex electrical designs to diverse audiences within a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years.
• Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and applications.

Responsibilities

• Integrate diverse data to characterize facility functions and configurations.
• Assess layouts, power systems, 3D models, and vulnerabilities.
• Use modeling tools to analyze electrical power systems.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Brief senior officials on capabilities and findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet mission objectives.
