Job summary

Schneider Electric is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program in the United States. The six‑month training starts in Franklin, Tennessee, with relocation support provided for training and final assignment locations.

Upon program completion, you will transition to an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role, supporting customers nationwide. The opportunity emphasizes hands‑on experience, collaboration with engineers and end users, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems or related field preferred.
• Experience installing software or operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location.
• Willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
• Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring software used in electrical power distribution systems.
• Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
• Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
• Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
