Job summary

Schneider Electric is launching a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program in Franklin, Tennessee, starting July 2027. The six‑month training mirrors hands-on electrical systems work, then transitions to an Associate System Commissioning Specialist across the United States.

Relocation assistance is offered for training and final assignments. Candidates with a two‑year technical degree will gain exposure to EPMS software, BAS/EMS concepts, and customer-facing project tasks

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience installing software or operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location.
• Ability and willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
• Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
• Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
• Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
• Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
