Job summary

Schneider Electric in Franklin, Tennessee offers a Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program beginning January 2027. You will train six months on site, then move into an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role serving customers across the United States.

Relocation assistance is provided for training and final assignment locations; the program targets candidates with a two-year technical degree and knowledge of electrical systems, networking, and software.

Qualifications

  • Associate or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems or related field.
  • Experience installing software or operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting across a network.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20–80% depending on location.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate within the United States after training.

Responsibilities

  • Support deployment, configuration, and commissioning of EPMS for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
  • Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring software used in electrical power distribution systems.
  • Configure communications between devices and networks; troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and system docs to support project execution.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors and end users during construction and commissioning.
  • Perform system startup, testing, and customer training; document completed projects.
  • Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing performance.
