Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Power Project Manager to oversee switching gear, UPS, ATS, generators, and transformers for mission-critical projects.

This role involves coordinating across departments to deliver on time and within budget in a challenging, safety-conscious environment. The ideal candidate will have five+ years in MEP or electrical power design/maintenance, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with mission-critical electrical power distribution systems (generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, transfer switches).
• Minimum five years in MEP or electrical power design, construction, or maintenance; hyperscale data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise up to 5 team members, providing feedback and support.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior teams and ensure policy compliance with HR partners.
• Identify training needs and address them collaboratively.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience in skilled trades.
• Mission Critical electrical & mechanical power distribution system experience (generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, transfer switches IE ATS/STS).
• At least five years of experience in MEP or Electrical Power design, construction, or maintenance, with a strong electrical focus. Hyperscale Data Center experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in understanding mission-critical electrical power distribution systems and mechanical systems.
• Hyperscale data center construction experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve technical and project-related issues effectively.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
