Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an Electrical Power Project Manager to lead integrated delivery of mission-critical power projects, including switchgear, transformers, generators, and UPS systems.

You’ll drive on-time, on-budget execution across departments in a safety-first culture. The role requires 5+ years in MEP or electrical power project experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in skilled trades.
• 5+ years in MEP or Electrical Power design, construction or maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand mission-critical electrical power distribution and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise up to 5 team members and provide feedback.
• Lead, coach and develop junior teams, ensuring policy compliance with HR.
• Identify training needs and foster a collaborative, confidential team environment.

Electrical Power Project Manager (Switchgear, Transformers)

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience in skilled trades.
• Mission Critical electrical & mechanical power distribution system experience (generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, transfer switches IE ATS/STS)
• At least five years of experience in MEP or Electrical Power design, construction, or maintenance, with a strong electrical focus. Hyperscale Data Center experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in understanding mission-critical electrical power distribution systems and mechanical systems.
• Hyperscale data center construction experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve technical and project-related issues effectively.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
