Northwest Lineman College is seeking a Training Specialist to lead field and classroom sessions, ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with our established curriculum. You will protect the integrity of our education model and serve as a mentor, helping students grow their skills and confidence in NLC standards.

The role emphasizes professional conduct, ongoing certification, and contributions to a dynamic team. On-site position based at Oroville, CA with travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Endorsement of passion for training and ability to mentor students.
• Ability to deliver field and classroom training with current program knowledge.
• Must maintain NLC certifications (climbing, CPR, First Aid).
• IBEW credentialed Journeyman Lineman or completion of apprenticeship.
• At least 5 years of experience in the line trade.
• Clean driving record and CDL eligibility (Class A).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and classroom training.
• Prepare for knowledge and skill delivery each term.
• Maintain updated knowledge on programs and catalogs.
• Identify gaps and provide solutions for campus readiness.
• Collaborate with leadership to set professional goals.
• Suggest innovative approaches to training and materials.
