Job summary

Northwest Lineman College is hiring an NLC Training Specialist to deliver high-impact training at the Oroville campus. You will mentor students, uphold curriculum quality, and model professional behavior as you help grow future linemen.

The role emphasizes hands-on field and classroom instruction, ongoing program updates, and collaboration with leadership to drive continuous improvement. On-site position with relocation support and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• IBEW credentialed Journeyman Lineman or completion of apprenticeship.
• 5 years work experience in the line trade.
• Good driving record and insurability.
• Class A CDL or ability to obtain if required at locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and classroom training.
• Prepare for knowledge and skill delivery each term in a proactive manner.
• Maintain updated and current knowledge on all programs and catalogs.
• Identify short falls and provide solutions to keep campus ready to train.
• Work with leadership to identify improvements and set goals.
• Suggest innovative training approaches and materials.
• Model professional behavior and teamwork while prioritizing student success.
