Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Project Manager – Critical Power to oversee mission-critical construction projects, including UPS, PDUs, switchgear, and transfer switches. Responsibilities cover the full lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and financial performance.

The role supports Lenexa, KS or Arkansas offices with potential remote flexibility within ~200 miles. Contract to Hire with benefits and comprehensive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical project manager or similar role.
• Experience with UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, backup generators, and transfer switches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation, scheduling, reporting, and communication.
• Experience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management for critical power projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee activities involving UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, backup generators, and transfer switches.
• Maintain accountability for safety, schedule, execution quality, and financial performance.
