Job summary

Actalent in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Electrical Project Manager – Critical Power to lead full lifecycle delivery of mission‑critical power systems for data centers, hospitals, and logistics hubs. You will manage UPS, switchgear, PDUs, generators and transfer switches from preconstruction through closeout in a contract‑to‑hire arrangement.

This onsite role requires 5+ years in electrical project management, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and a safety‑focused, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an electrical project manager.
• Strong experience with electrical systems, especially low‑voltage and critical power.
• Proven ability to manage UPS, switchgear, PDUs, backup generators, and transfer switches.
• Proficiency with Office for documentation, scheduling and reporting.
• Experience with engineered drawings, bid specs, and take‑offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management for critical power projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee construction activities involving UPS, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and transfer switches.
• Manage safety, schedule, quality, and financial performance of projects.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Draft scopes of work and manage vendor/subcontractor relationships.
