Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team, coach associates, and ensure strong customer service in-store.

You will support merchandising decisions, monitor safety, and ensure department coverage while handling both customer-facing and back-end tasks. The role requires retail experience, leadership, and the ability to train teams; occasional MOD duties and travel to meetings may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams and training associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally and with store systems.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team to deliver the best customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks and follow up on daily goals.
• Manage daily tasks, performance, and department coverage.
• Handle customer-facing activities and store safety responsibilities.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Communicate upward on concerns, issues, or morale to leadership.
• Travel to meetings or trainings as needed to support nearby stores.
