Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver an outstanding customer experience in our Albuquerque store. You will coach, train, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate department coverage while maintaining safety and merchandise standards.

The role requires strong retail experience, flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Occasional opening/closing and manager-on-duty responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years retail experience, or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver customer service excellence.
• Coach and train associates, delegating tasks and following up on daily duties.
• Ensure department coverage, monitor safety, and manage merchandising.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings or trainings as needed to support neighboring stores.
