Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer I to design, analyze, and support electrical systems for energy and infrastructure projects across hospital and college campuses. The PE I develops code-compliant, constructible designs including power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls integration within defined project scopes.

The PE I collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination with facilities, supports permitting and procurement efforts, and delivers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
5+ years of design experience required.
PE license required.
Experience with energy infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Sign and seal engineering documents where applicable.
Design electrical systems including power distribution, renewable energy, storage, and controls.
Analyze electrical systems (low/medium voltage, lighting, controls).
Perform utility interconnect, arc flash, and short‑circuit studies calculations.
Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct site visits and data collection; coordinate 3D laser scanning.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.
Apply engineering techniques within defined assignments.
Work under general supervision and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Develop client interaction skills in supported settings.
