Job summary

Parkhill is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time, exempt role supports a wide range of electrical building design projects for commercial facilities and requires strong technical and collaboration skills.

You will lead design teams, mentor staff on Revit, AutoCAD, and SKM, coordinate with clients and authorities, and help manage risk from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Professional engineer registration (PE) in Texas or OK.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM.
• Knowledge of civil engineering practices and trends.
• Ability to lead project design from start to finish, considering time, cost, and resources.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
• Manage planning, modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting requirements.
• Train/mentor staff on Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Train/mentor staff on electrical building design requirements.
• Review project details to proactively manage risk.
• Evaluate observations and design systems to withstand site conditions.
• Lead design teams in preparing plans, specs, and bid/construction documents.
• Develop relationships with clients, staff, authorities, vendors, and contractors.
