Job summary

Legence invites experienced Electrical Engineers to join nationwide teams offering hybrid work options. You will design high‑performance electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects, from concept through construction.

Candidates should have a relevant degree, strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, NEC familiarity, and PE/FE‑ET potential. This role emphasizes collaboration, design excellence, and mentorship within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in MEP consulting engineering for commercial, institutional, or healthcare projects.
• Familiarity with NEC and building codes; FE/EIT preferred; PE a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and controls, emergency power, UPS, and low‑voltage systems.
• Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Lead design coordination with architects, owners, and contractors; ensure conformance with contracts.
• Develop single-line diagrams, load calculations, and energy/power system analyses.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in client engagement.
