Job summary

TriplePoint Labs is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect electrical control panels, components, assemblies, and production work to ensure quality and compliance with customer specs and industry standards.

The role combines inspection, electrical testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. Training and support will be provided for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience in quality control, electrical assembly, panel building, or inspection is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, components, assemblies, and finished products for quality and conformance to specs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections using measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Conduct basic electrical testing with multimeters and inspection tools.
• Review products against drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Verify proper installation and operation of relays, fuses, circuit breakers, switches, sensors, and terminal blocks.
• Inspect wiring, labeling, component placement, and workmanship per standards.
• Document inspection results, test data, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Identify quality concerns and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Perform re-inspections and verify corrective actions meet requirements.
• Maintain inspection records, quality docs, and calibration records.
