Job summary

Qualifications

  • Electrical control panel build and wiring experience, including layouts and components.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring techniques.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience with machine tool wiring and conduit installations is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • This job involves lots of bending, stooping, and standing.

Responsibilities

  • Layout and wire electrical control panels from schematics and blueprints.
  • Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, PLCs, and terminal blocks onto panels.
  • Wire control panels using standard electrical practices and wiring diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve assembly issues and improve panel designs.
  • Connect panels to machinery by running conduit and terminating wires.

Job description

This company specializes in design, engineering, fabrication and installation of industrial machines.

Job Duties:
  • Layout and wire electrical control panels from electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Layout and mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, PLCs, and terminal blocks, etc. onto panel back plates or enclosures.
  • Wire control panels using standard electrical practices and wiring diagrams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve assembly issues and improve panel designs.
  • Tie electrical panels into machinery by running conduit and terminate wires
Experience Required:
  • Electrical control panel build and wiring experience: including panel layouts and electrical components.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring technique.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Experience with machine tool wiring and conduit installations, preferred but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

  • This job involves lots of bending, stooping, and constantly working while on your feet.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 5:30am – 4:00pm with some light overtime on Fridays

Pay Rate:

Up to $30/hr based on experience
