Job summary

Choice Machinery Group in Holland, MI is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder / Machine Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing and engineering team. This role builds electrical control panels and wires machines for industrial equipment, ensuring high quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate reads electrical schematics, follows UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards, and works closely with engineering and assembly teams to resolve wiring issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years in electrical panel building or machine wiring.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards is advantageous.
• Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, multimeters and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to schematics.
• Wire machinery following UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards.
• Mount and connect sensors, motors, drives, PLCs, contactors and components.
• Route and terminate wiring neatly within panels and machines.
• Perform continuity checks and assist with power-up/testing.
• Collaborate with engineering/assembly to resolve wiring issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Builder / Machine Wire Technician to join our manufacturing and engineering team. This position is responsible for both assembling and wiring electrical control panels and completing machine wiring on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and takes pride in building high-quality, reliable machinery.

Position Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to electrical schematics and layout drawings
• Wire machinery and equipment following UL 508A and NFPA 79 standards
• Mount and connect sensors, motors, drives, PLCs, contactors, and other electrical components
• Route and terminate wiring neatly and accurately within both panels and machines
• Perform point-to-point continuity checks and assist in machine power-up and testing
• Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to resolve wiring or design issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in electrical panel building or machine wiring
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
