Job summary

Opportunity Group, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Panel Builder to assemble and wire electrical control panels for new automation equipment. You will build, wire, install, and troubleshoot panels and provide on-site support at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and wiring machines.
• Panel Build experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Panel Builder

Grand Rapids, MI Area | Permanent Position

Join a growing machine builder in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You’ll have the opportunity to build electrical controls panels, wire new machines and assemble electrical components for new Automation Equipment. Become a Controls Electrician for a growing machine builder. All levels of experience are welcome including entry level with basic skills.

Responsibilities for the Panel Builder

• Build, wire, install, and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and other electrical and mechanical components.
• Build and wire electrical panels.
