Job summary

Jo-Kell is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join the Pompano Beach electrical panel shop. The role focuses on assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of custom control panels from drawings and schematics.

Qualifications include experience with control panel building, industrial wiring, and related technical fields. A technical degree is preferred but not required, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and a pay range of $20–$30 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Experience with point-to-point wiring, component installation, and electrical terminations.

Responsibilities

Build and wire custom electrical control panels from drawings and schematics.
Perform point-to-point wiring, termination, and installation of electrical components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Assist with panel layout, assembly, testing, and quality inspections.
Troubleshoot wiring, component, and assembly issues.
Verify completed work against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Communicate technical issues to engineering and work toward resolution.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain an organized, safe, and productive work area.
Support other panel shop and engineering activities as needed.
