Job summary

Campos Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Shop Technician with experience in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and schematics, and ensuring safety and industry standards.

You will assemble, terminate, and wire panels using specified tooling, perform point-to-point wiring, read diagrams, and lay out components in cabinets. Strong focus on wiring and accuracy in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year control panel assembly experience.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring as well as control panels and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.
• Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• The primary focus will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring.
• Layout of components in various size cabinets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure.
• Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Salary: $26-40/hr (Commensurate with experience)
