MSS, Inc., based in Nashville, Tennessee, designs and manufactures advanced sensor-based optical sorting equipment for the recycling and waste management industry. Since 1974, MSS has served a variety of applications, including single and dual-stream MRFs, plastic recycling, construction and demolition recycling, metal recycling, and electronic scrap processing. As a division of the CPG Group, MSS is part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality recycling equipment and turnkey systems to empower customers as industry leaders.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Panel Assembler I (Entry Level) to join our Production team in Nashville, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, are eager to learn electrical assembly, and want to build a long‑term career in manufacturing.

Duties:
  • Assemble electrical control panels using wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
  • Mount components including relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and terminal blocks
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires accurately and safely
  • Assist with cable fabrication and routing
  • Label and organize wiring within control panel enclosures
  • Perform quality inspections and identify assembly issues
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities
  • Perform light mechanical work such as drilling, tapping, and panel cutouts
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Collaborate with production team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret simple wiring diagrams, or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Preffered Qualifications:
  • Technical or vocational training in electrical or industrial trades
  • Experience with electrical assembly or panel building
  • Familiarity with UL 508A standards
  • Experience using crimp terminals, ribbon cables, or IDC connectors
  • Manufacturing or industrial assembly experience
Work Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday
  • Four 10‑hour shifts
  • Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs
Pay Range:

$23.00 - $31.15 per hour
