Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring an Installer - Electrical in Zebulon, NC. This role involves installing and wiring building control systems, reading plans, and supporting the installation team.

A safety-first approach and strong attention to detail are essential for delivering high-quality work. Candidates should have 1+ years of experience in electrical systems, be able to use hand tools, and be comfortable working on lifts and ladders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience and/or education in commercial, residential or industrial electrical systems.
• Must be able to work with various basic hand tools, follow directions and be able to read and write.
• Must be able to work on lifts and ladders.
• Must possess hand tools.
• Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable.
• Random drug testing is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Physical Demands: heavy physical effort including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Installation and wiring of building control systems.
• Support of installation team for Fire and Security if needed.
• Reading plans and drawings.
• Maintaining documented installation standards and practices.
• Leading with a safety-first mindset each day.
• Support other technicians with system point checks.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of installations.

• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Material Handling: Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Must successfully pass a background check & drug test.

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
